I've been loving my new kohl pencil from Bobbi Brown in this black/purple color. I then go into my Lorac Pro palette and line it with the eggplant shade (can't remember the name), smudge it out. Add more shadow, and smudge,smudge. And do the same in lower lash line.Curl my lashes, load them with a ton of mascara. And for my cheeks I go for MAC "pinch me" and lips Bobbi Brown in "uber nude". I wish I could remember to take a pic...been wearing this look for a week already.

Wow shelly, that sounds pretty. I kno exactly the lorsc shade you're talking about. its the reason I won't buy a lorsc pro pallet right now. lol. its the only shade I can rem, I do not need an entire pallet for one shade. until I can appreciate the rest of the colors I need to get ova it. lol..

@Naomi...you should check out MAC "format" and "sweet as cocoa" blushes. Mascara I suggest looking at Loreal. And what basic eyeshadows are you needing? Neutral shades? I can suggest a ton of those. :)

Trying to do a cat eye and wearing a bold lip color. I can't quite perfect my cat eye but I keep trying. I use to always wear lipsticks but got lazy and just started using glosses or tinted lip products. Lately I've been making it a habit of wearing a bolder lip a few days a week.

I just got the Naked 1 palette, I wasn't too excited by it before but decided it seemed like a lot of good neutrals. Well I love it. In fact now I'm sweatin the Naked 2 because the gray colors look awesome.

Naked basics pallet- doing a taupe shadow and using the matte black shadow as liner (over MAC kohl pencil in smolder). A subtle but defined eye with tons of lashes- I am loving Perfekt lash gel in black. It looks dramatic but natural if that makes sense. Then I'm doing a lip stain- Nars matte crayon in Dolce Vita. I line and fill in with it and then put a tiny bit of Carmex on my finger and rub it in to my lips and blot well.

I'm obsessed with this liquid eyeliner but I don't know the brand. the bottle is a lil asian dolllike thing. but it works sooo well for regular and winged eyeliner. Using it for winged is definitely my fav right now.

I'm not really n a position to wear bold colors to work. so that 5/6 days right there. (eventho I do sneak n shadow) but I've been telling myself on the wknd I'm going to go easy on everything else n do bold lip.. of course I end up running late n just throwing something on (clothes n makeup wise).. but I think I am going to work on doing more subtle eye looks (detailed eyes were always my thing so I default to that n then end up with a calm lip eventho I start out with the intention to go easy on the eyes.. lol).
