Okay so I have been considering waxing my lip. The reason I never did before was because I its really light and sometimes not really noticeable. But lately its been bugging me. Anyway should I go somewhere or do it myself if myself what are good products and tips?

Don't Shave It! Wax It! You Can Put Baby Power Before So It Won't Hurt Much.

Don't wax that area., since over time waxing any where on your face causes wrinkles.. Epilate it or thread it.. But if you do wax you can get the strips from the shops they sell them everywhere

There is nothing wrong with waxing your lips :) I think threading and waxing are best for lips (stay away from epilators when it comes to upper lips. I love them. But so much can go wrong.) as a general rule of thumb, I always get professionals to do the waxing when its a new area! they know what they're doing and you'll get the best results. Avoid moisturizers, lotions, baby powder, or make up when you go to get your wax because that buildup can actually reduce the efficiency of the wax itself...leading to the god awful tugging or patches of unwaxed hair. If you're scared of pain, take Tylenol (the most gentle of pain killers) 20 to 30 minutes before your waxing appointment. It relaxes the muscles making the waxing easier to handle! Also. calm down before going in. Drink some warm tea, just sit for a few moments and breath deeply! Anxiety only makes waxing more painful!! If you do it by yourself try to find Nads face wax strips! The sally Hansen ones are good but the Nads hurts less for some reason. Remember to follow the directions! I also recommend wiping the area with a toner or astringent to get it as clean as possible before waxing! :) Hope this helps! Good luck.

Go ahead and wax it, I always feel so great after I get it done. It hurts a little but so worth it.
