If you are naturally curly first after washing your hair straighten it using a blower and a big rounded brush and just then use a flat iron. And girls a right about ends.:-)

Air dry or blow dry your hair first and use a good quality heat protector, I use pro naturals argan oil heat protector. I also have their shampoo and conditioner so I use that before I start. Separate your hair into 4 sections, two in front and two in back and pin up the front sections. The back is harder so it's better to start there first and get it out of the way. Get a 1 inch thick piece of hair from the back section and pull it through the flat iron without pausing. Flat iron 1 inch sections until all the back part is done and move on to the front. Repeat the steps.
