Ok I just completed a makeup gig and it did not go according to plan..because of poor time management I was unable to complete my main client's makeup...I really want to make it up to her..need ideas on how to get her back as a client.

I'm sorry to hear that. You can offer some type of incentive like half price off her next service. Very important try to keep some sort of communication with her that will be your best bet in trying to win her over again.

Time management is so hard. I find, especially because it's something we love doing, we can end up spending an infinite amount of time tweaking an area. I think the ladies offered good advice here, hopefully you were able to confidently pull off a competed look-they only know it's not "finished" if you let them. I've wondered how to overcome this issue myself. So far I try to hit all areas and then come back and tweak.

The best you can do at this point is customer service outreach. Contact her with sincere apologizes and attempt to amend it by offering free service. Unfortunately, there is the possibility she may decline, and not be returning business. Just go forward!
