1) Take one pump of MAC StudioFix Fluid, and half a pump of MAC Mineralize Moisture on the back of your hand.
2) Mix the two together to warm them up.
3) I take my finger and dot the foundation all over my skin.
4) I love the Sigma F80 brush for blending out this foundation, but a damp beauty blender or any sponge works just as great!
5) I set it with MAC's StudioFix Powder, which is a foundation powder, but applied the right way will help stray away from it being caked on.
And lastly, I get this outcome:
(btw, I know it's a tad lighter but it's because my face was near direct light)

So you need one foundation then?

That's three foundations.
Studio fix powder isn't a setting powder it's a powder foundation.
I'm not even sure if mineralize moisture is a foundation or not..
But 3 foundations seems like it would be cakey-er

I'm not a fan of beauty blenders but I find spraying some fix+ on my skin or brush before application works fine.

Yes Carolyn H, it is three you're right. I forgot all about the powder being a foundation as well, but Mineralize Moisture is a foundation. It's new. And yeah I also agree that the Fix+ works great! Love it for their pigments too.
And Kitty K, it's two liquids and one powder foundation. I do not cake on the powder. Jus light dust it on.

I think I'll just stick to my one regular foundation, not exactly made of money so to speak.

Oh my word!! Three foundations to create this finish. For myself personally my skin would rebel big time. That is just a bit much for everyday wear. For the expense of all that I'd rather invest in great skincare so I wouldn't be forced to wear all that. Or just find one great foundation instead of just using MAC.

Didn't post this to say to switch, hint the word "tip"! I said "If you use MAC StudioFix Fluid" and Shelley W yes it may be too much for some, but its only one 1/2 pump of liquid foundation, my skin doesn't work with anything else, so this is what I stick with and love.
Everyone's skin is different ladies, please keep that in mind before posting your opinion about this being too much or too hard on the skin. Thanks!

I love the studio fix fluid but I break out when I wear it, does that happen to anyone else

@Maryam Macs products are known to be a bit harsh on skin and cause breakouts, I know a couple of victims. Have to be very careful with Mac.

Yeah it's deff real thick like clay! My skin broke out for a week or so, but it's clear as can be now! My face takes a while to warm up to products. But I just love the coverage.

Katelyn...you are taking my opinion just a little too personal. I understand everyone's skin is different as I've said that plenty of times on other posts. What works for one may not work for another. My opinion is just that...an opinion...nothing more and nothing less. I myself could not use three different foundations. I was not in any way attacking you. :(

Oh I know, I wasn't directing that right towards you. Other people have posted about it being too much! Totally okay. Sorry if I came across harsh wasn't the intention
