I have about normal to dry skin and I was wondering if i should use cream based or liquid based foundation? Which one is your favourite and what brand is the best for this skin type?

I have super dry skin, so I've had to avoid anything that needs to be set with powder. Especially since I turned 30. Right now I'm using MAC tinted moisturizer all over and MAC studio tech applied with #188 brush in the places where I need more coverage (cheeks/forehead/chin). I set with UD All Nighter. It gives a satin to dewy finish that lasts all day.
I've also been experimenting with Asian BB creams. I've friend Skin79 hot orange, which gives a nice satin finish and is an NW15-20, and Missha M perfect cover #13 (NC15 very dewy).
