I had a mishap this evening while trying to clean up, and some of my discontinued eye shadows met the floor. Sorta bummed about it, anyone else have any devastating make up stories?

Jen, that stinks! Foundation is too expensive to have poor dispensing units!

My fave makeup palette fell on the floor and eye shadows were ruined. Just recently my brow powder fell too and had to throw it out.

Ositha, I'd be so bummed if that happened! Maybe it'll make a good blackmail story when she's old enough to wear/appreciate good make up?

Gen, that would be really irritating, as I'm sure they have piles of toys they could have chewed! My puppies haven't eaten anything yet, but one did accidentally make a mess on one of my Coach bags. (Which I guess is what I get for leaving it on the floor!) Luckily it was a fabric one so it just went in the wash. But still gross.

Nooo! That really stinks, plus Urban Decay just raised their naked palette prices to $52 USD.

Stephanie, did you used alcohol and repress it? I did that with a couple of tonight's shadows, hopefully it holds them together enough. There was one that shattered all over the floor, and I couldn't bring myself to scrape it back in. Too many germs!

I had a bottle of liquid foundation. I was in my room... its carpet.
To get better lightning, I went to the bathroom.
Mom asked a question.
I'm hispanic.
Hispanics love to talk with their hands.
I motioned back/upwards.
The glass bottle was wide open.
That alone should tell you much scrubbing I had to do on my carpet... for two days.

My daughter has wrecked over $500 in makeup in the past year, :( foundation setting powder blush brushes you name it she's wrecked it. I've even hidden it in random places and she's still found it, now I keep it locked in the trunk of my car in the garage.

My daughter lost my MAC Wonder Woman lipglass. It was my favorite. That was 2 years ago and I still mourn it. Also last year every piece of my jewelry I have collected over 20 years was stolen. Rubies, gold, lots of Sterling, all gone. It seems so silly but that was devastating. I still have no necklaces whatsoever.

Lol I agree with Lexi. After reading some of these I pictured my naked pallet I got about three weeks ago shattered on my bathroom floor... I cringed.

I dropped my too faced leopard print bronzer on the floor while on the phone.
