Just want you guys to know that my daughter who has brown med. length hair dyed it herself with cherry red kool aid. It is permanent and we have not been able to wash it out. Unfortunately she
goes to a private school and needs to have her hair cut to remove the red colouring. So if anyone is thinking about using kool aid, yes it is cheap but permanent so make sure you love the color. She will need to get her hair cut tomorrow. DOES ANYONE OUT THERE KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT REMOVING CHERRY RED KOOL AID DYE FROM HAIR? IF SO PLEASE POST. THANKS. Sorry I am not able to attach photo at this time, but believe me it's red and permanent.

I've known people who've done that and it washed right out.
Use a clarifying shampoo on her.
