I had the same problem. I switched my cleanser in the morning to a gentle every day cream cleanser. and I started to use a black sugar charcoal scrub twice a week. I also use a NON alcohol toner. for the oil, I still kept using my moisturizer though. I saw a lot of difference.

Try Yes To Carrots products. I have really dry skin and it really helped. I also use moisturizer after I wash my face.

Exfoliate more firm and try a creamier cleanser.

Beauty Oils. They hydrate without the greassy feeling a brighten the skin as well I have the same problem.

Wash your face in luke warm water. Hot water dries up your skin even more, this goes for showering too. Try using a gentler cleanser, without harsh chemicals. They will dry out the skin a lot more than a regular cleanser by stripping away the natural oils. Exfoliate about once a week or once every two weeks. It will help rid of the dead skin, but if done too often it will irritate the flakes, as well as cause your skin to produce excess oil to compensate for all you're taking from it. Now to toner, try an oil based toner with absolutely no alcohol, as it will just continue to dry out your skin. For moisturizer, try one that's meant to be used at night time. They are more intense and much more moisturizing. Though they may seem greasy you just have to let them set. Always after moisturizing you need to give it time to sink into the skin because putting makeup right over it will just move it around and won't do its job as effectively. If you really are concerned, you can also do a mask. I would do them on the same day you exfoliate, so your skin is fresh and you're replenishing the skin after scrubbing. You can do a home made mask, like honey, or you can buy one, like a mud mask.

Sometimes you have to go old school. use what's in your kitchen cabinet.

olive oil. grapeseed oil. apricot, coconut, jojoba. Shea butter. etc..
exfoliate exfoliate exfoliate. you can't rejuvenate dead skin. get it off n moisturize what's under it..

Use coconut oil to moisturize. if you have oily skin, dilute it with water.

I have the same problem. Except I have dry skin. Put Vaseline on the worst parts over night.
