I hardly wear make up but it seems when I wear foundation, I get a big irritating pimple on the right side of my chin :S.
Does this happen to anyone else?
Does anyone know what it could be?
Maybe I should use something more "breathable".
I also USD Napoleon primer.

I use to do that with the Garnier BB cream, broke me out horribly on one side of my face. You may just need to switch foundations.

Jessica, maybe the foundation is to heavy on your skin, maybe a light coverage foundation or bb cream would let your akin breath more and prevent the break outs?

Yeah I've tried switching and I really like the dream matte line but having the same problem. I guess I'll need to start getting oil free foundations. Even though it's usually just one pimple, it's one of those pimples that is so irritating you just want to pop and scratch lol.

Aw Ale, isn't it annoying! Same thing happened with BB creams. Must need to switch to only water based make up.

Yeah go for oil free foundation that will make a huge difference.also be sure that you wash all your make up off before bed.

It may not be your foundation.. Do you wash your face brushes often..they can really hold bacteria and spread onto your face causing breakouts.

I get that with heavy foundations MAC and Revlon for example.

Thanks girls. Yes I always cleanse morning and night and I do wash my brushes less than I should so thanks for the reminder Alyssa, but I haven't used my foundation brush for quite a while, I've been using my hands.
I'm thinking it's definitely the oil in the foundations so I will change that up and also give my brushes a strong clean a bit more frequently. Since we are on the topic, does anyone use a great water based foundation that's reasonably priced? Thanks heaps :-)!

Try using physicians formula foundations. They don't clog your pores and are hypoallergenic.

Try using mineral foundation! They don't clog your pores at all

It probably sounds silly but as much as I really like mineral foundation and how my skin can breathe, sometimes I feel that my skin gets too dry when I use it. So I need a medium, something not to oily or too dry. That's why I think my best bet will be a water based foundation :-).

It makes sense! I like full coverage so I use clinque cc cream as a based and that's amazing for acne prone skin then I wear revlon colour stay on top.. if I wear that on it's own it breaks me out but the clinque cc cream works as a barrier between my skin and foundation :)

By chance do you rest your chin on your hand or prop up your chin with your hand when you're sitting down? Everyone gave some valid ideas as to why your skin could be breaking out, I wanted to maybe point out to something you might not think about. If you rest your chin on your hand it could be that some of the bacteria transfer that is causing/contributing to the breakout...especially if its in the same place. Not implying that you have super dirty hands or anything lol.
