You can just paint it on an eyeliner brush, or even dip it in the container if it fits. Or use another liquid eyeliner brush that fits into the container.

With the brush being so small and it being made spill proof I'm not sure another brush would fit in there. I know after using it for a while the seal that makes it spill proof will detach and I will have to shove it back in every once in a while, maybe you can remove that so you can dip an eyeliner brush in. Sorry I can't be of better help. The only other advice I have is practice. It was my first liquid eyeliner and I have luckily had no problems.
