I don't agree about coloring over bleach, at least not future 14 day, the color just wouldn't hold.

Go get your hair dyed a caramel or chocolate brown color so it looks even

Or you can try a dark semi permanent hair dye that is just pigments and stick it in your hair until you are ready to dye it again another color

It's not that bad.

I'm not sure but... oil masks make bleached hair a lil darker so you can try maybe:-)

You paid for it. Go back and ask her to fix it. If she's reputable, she'll want you to be happy since unhappy clients will kill her business.

I second Courtney- a stylist in the dark is no bueno, this is what happens when you're not on the same page. :3

I also agree with Alicia, I'd just take it to a pretty caramel color for Fall when you can.

Totally feel ya doll!

I'm just jaded because too many people have effed up my hair in the past, so as bitchy as it sounds I always have my stylist reiterate exactly what I'm asking of her, even the one I have now who I've stuck with over a year. Whether she's just doing a trim, or putting in my extensions, I ALWAYS make her reiterate and explain what I want. Some people think it's tacky or bitchy, but I think if a stylist likes her job and your money, there's no harm in getting what YOU want. :)

Kenzie, they will be seen untill growing out, the color will always be lighter over highlights and will wash out faster. I would suggest using a toner instead of common dye, it will help to get a more natural look and won't change to muck your natural hair, especiallg if you'll choose your natural shade.

No dying it over won't make it "go away". Yes it will cover the bleach and change the color but the damage to your hair has been done. Good news is if this is your first time using bleach it won't ruin your hair as much as you think. Constant bleaching and highlighting is what causes bad breakage. You can definatly go to a different salon and get it fixed

Sorry if youve already answered these questions but was this your first hair job and what was your hair color prior to coloring

Its not that bad girl! Relax! Get yourself a toner, thats all you have to do. when you get highlights, it removes the pigment from your hair then you add a toner to get the desired shade. you are going to want a deposit only toner and make sure the developer has no lifting action. try to stay 1-2 shades from the color your highlights are now to ensure good results. don't feel obligated to own this hair color mishap. you paid for a service, if your not happy then you need to tell the stylist directly. then you can ask her how she recommends fixing this. she may even meet with you outside of work and fix your hair for you. give her a chance to make it right though, maybe she wasnt sure what you wanted and this can be easily fixed but don't think you have to pay for a service that you arent happy with. highlights are not cheap dude!

Don't dye your hair back to its natural color! at least wait 2 weeks to avoid damage. your hair is dead so once its damaged, you can't fix it, you can only cut it off. you can make it look a bit healthier but in the end, you can't make dead things undead! try the deposit only toners I recommended earlier and usee deep conditioning treatments 2-3 times a week! john freida brunettes shampoo can help darken it just a bit too in the meantime. Colorful Professional Protein Filler is great too. its a color refresher that adds proteins to hair, strengthens it and boosts your color while adding a tint itself. A must for anyone who dyes their hair, especially redheads!
