I have extremely frizzy hair. It makes me never want to wear my hair down. when my hair does decide to be good, it looks still beautiful. It is all thick that straightening it is way too much work. What could I use to help take my curls so I can stop wearing my hair up all the time?

Coconut oil, castor oil really helped with the frizz on my hair. Stay away from frizz serums - and anything with sulfate. They're like diet pills... Skinny now three times worse later. When you condition your hair don't rinse out all of the conditioner so it helps weigh your hair down. Stick to organic oils like Argan or Morrocon oil. I've been doing this and haven't worn product for three years.

Hair that is frizzy is lacking moisture. use a deep conditioner without sylicone and a hydrating shampoo without sulfates. also if you use any heating tools make sure your using a heat protecting cream.

Argan, avocado and grapeseed oil not only add moisture but shine as well. just make sure your buying quality oils. generally with oil the price reflects the quality because there's not much of a mark up.

You have to try and figure out how to embrace your natural hairs beauty. I am a firm believer that we are born with the hair we were meant to have and I don't believe that anybodies hair is so hopeless that they must wear a pony tail constantly. you need to do some research and learn about the type of hair you have. trial and error, try some products and see what works and what doesn't. go to a hairdresser and have her give you tips and tricks and show you new things. maybe a cosmetology school but ask for a 3rd year student, not a first year. you can also youtube other girls out there with the same problem. one more thing, sleep on a satin pillow case, its less damaging to your hair and will help minimize frizz once you give that thirsty hair some moisture that is! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qqG85DHS3x8.
