You can't really... Its nothing wrong!! I rather be warm then freeze with a thin jacket so I could not look poofy.

I live in Colorado,so I feel you.Puffy jackets can't really be un-puffy.Maybe wear a cozy hoodie instead?Or wear a thick or knit cardigan?

Jackets with thick fabric & not cotton stuffed ones work. Or sweatshirts lined w/ fur/ fuzzy fabric. I get the same problem but found a solution through the stuff mentioned earlier & peacoats.
