CLIP IN extensions

Do clip in extensions prevent your real hair from continuing to grow? I've had clip ins for 2 months and worn them all days but 3-4. Will my really hair still grow (I'm trying to grow in longer) or do my extensions need to be out for it to grow? And my extensions are clip in ones.

It doesn't prevent growth. It can cause thinning if you don't be careful. Make sure you take breaks with them and limit the amount of stress you put on them. For example: try to not clip it in the same place everytime and try to curl/straightened/detangle them when they're not on your head. Those things put tension on your scalp which can have adverse effects (I actually got a small bald spot from clips before)
