Pin the top layer or hair into a ponytail, leaving the bottom layer and your bangs down. Then, pin a bow at the bottom on the ponytail

It just looks like a high ponytail. So I say crimp your hair and pin your bangs that frame your face back to give it that more volume look. It's not a perfect, combed ponytail pulled back, she made it layered for the illusion of more volume so keep that in mind :)
