You should try condensing like items with like items. get a little bag for pencils, another for lipsticks, go through your stuff and throw out what is old and get rid of what you don't use (anything over a year is probably not worth keeping anyway). you can get a z palette and deot all your shadows so they are all in their own little things. I have a video on how to do that if you need help. thats way you can store your things in a caboodle and store it on a shelf somewhere. http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=OOzq48nZuEc.

I use my nightstand, and the top drawer is full of my makeup and stuff so it's esay to keep organized then I just put all my hair goodies on the glass top. You'd never know it was my vanity til you open the drawer to my little vain paradise.

Use old spaghetti jars or coffee jars, for your pencil stuff =)
