Just do a lot of moisturizing treatments! I went from dark dark brown from dying my hair black for years and I lovvvee my hair light now :) just a little dry from the bleaching but its all good. Thats all I would sayis to moisturize everyday. I just leave conditioner in my hair then go on with my fav treatments.

After I bleached my hair I put a colour called light golden brown and got it really light so I wouldn't get charged that much for lightning at the salon (:

Have you thought of a full head of bleach foils? Tone out the brassiness? And after probably the 3rd go it will be light enough with a nice variation?

Oh yess get all the brassiness out girl, omg my hair looked orange the first go lol!
so I put packets of toner then bleached just a little :) I used my toner with a treatment though to make it real soft & moisturized from any damage from the bleach (:
