Do Not use toothpaste!! I can cause burns on your face. I know ALOT of ladies have used tea tree oil and that has helped. I have a cream from Lush with tea tree oil in it and I love it for keeping my face clear.

Don't use tooth paste. I use African Black Soap and it works wonders for me. I use the Dudu Osan brand, it can be bought on Amazon.

No to the toothpaste!! Especially if you're on the Tretinoin. Skin is already sensitive from using that don't add more problems on top of that. How long have you been using the Tretinoin? If you just started you have to allow anywhere from 6-8 weeks to see a small difference while after 6 months you should see major differences. And that goes for most other skincare items. Things take time to work. I used to have issue with hormonal acne along my jawline when mother natural came knocking. I started taking flaxseed pills because of the Omega 3's. What a huge difference it made. Since I've been taking it everyday for two months now I no longer get the outbreak along my jawline. One or two zits may crop up but nothing major like it once was. For overall acne prevention I did an overhaul of my diet a few years back. My sugar consumption is restricted big time, I don't dare touch dairy (cow based) or soymilk (I learned soy was causing me havoc as well), consume a huge amount of fresh veggies and a decent amount of fruit. And I limit the amount of white flour as well (pasta, breads). It was adjustment but worth it as I no longer have to sink a ton of money into concealers to hide stuff or into acne products. I can go without makeup in confidence because my skin is relatively clear.

The reason people say toothpaste is teens used to use it I hate to say this but 'back in the day' as a cheap fast fix they don't make toothpaste now like they used to either way toothpast is a no its uncomfterable and can scar and blister.Using a oatmeal, yoghurt and honey facemask can work wonders or just using it as a gentle scrub.Dabbing salt water on them can help and steaming your face over a hot bowl of water helps too.But in the long run being active, fruit and veg and loads of water helps.

Tea tree is wonderful and worked well for me but it made my skin feel like it was burning a little.

Make a mask using greek yogurt, honey, lemon juice, and oatmeal. I made it for the first time last time and my face already looked less red this morning and it was so soft. I've read it's good for acne too :)

I really love the Aztec clay mask, I use a small teaspoon of the powder with apple cider vinegar and it works wonder with my skin. You can feel it really pulling the impurities from your skin and it doesn't take long to work.
