Do not pull or force it off, just grab scissors and cut it off.

Catch it on the reverse side and gently tease through. if you cut it it will become a hole and get bigger!

Pust the thread through with the tip of a sharp pencil thats what I did to mine when it went like that.

Just take some clear nail polish and paint over it. that way it won't come off anymore and it won't stick out either.  :)

Take a small crochet hook and pull through to the wrong side. Never ever cut.
