I recommend using a moisturizer and primer before your foundation. I highly recommend Simple Skincare's light or heavy moisturizer. Then use a primer that works well for your skin, everyone has different preferences. I heard Smashbox and Korres make some really good primers. Also Smashbox makes a green primer that reduces redness. Maybelline makes some good concealers to cover up your acne, you should check them out. For foundation you can try Revlon Colorstay and I also recommend Kat Von D lock it foundation and Estee Lauder Doublewear which are good full coverage foundations.

Yeah Estée Lauder double wear maximum cover camouflage foundation is really good. If you are worried about the redness then the smash box mentioned by shauna, smash box photo insight colour correcting primer, is really nice on and does slightly help the redness, not completely but the foundation will sort that out. The only thing with double wear is that it is good for oily skin so definitely use a good moisturiser. When I use my double wear I sometimes use my Clinique almost powder make up after and it gives me extra coverage also without looking Cakey

Yea I wear smashbox green primer and it really helps sometimes I wear it alone to even out the redness.

To even out redness I would recommend making your own primer with properties that will actually help your skin.
I've made my mixing either BB Cream or foundation with Aloe Vera Gel. Then use a cream concealer to conceal your acne. What you use on top is up to you - I use powder foundation so I usually apply my concealer first.
I highly recommend looking at videos on YouTube ( Specifically ones by Wayne Goss. ) There are lots of girls with worse acne that can teach you how to create a flawless face :)

Wear a green primer first the foundation then concealer around your face that's what I do

Aloe vera gel and milk of magnesia are great for a smooth, oil controlling canvas. Once it dries, use foundation. I love covergirl 3 in 1, my natural skin is close to what yours looks like and trust me, the covergirl will fix it! You can apply with fingers, but for any foundation, a stippling brush is the best for fuller coverage. Elf does a fantastic stippling brush. :)

Thanks ladies! 😊 I do most of my shopping at Sephora & Mac & spoke to them about my skin to get the best make up to help my situation & have recommended me the hydration blue smachbox primer & Macs long lasting liquid foundation.& the Mac finishing spray but still seems to wear off after a couple of hrs & sometimes makes my acne more noticable.. but thanks so much!!

😰I'm going to have to look into deeply all these suggestions cuz my skin gets worse (drier) in the winter & certain products burn my skin especially around my eyes.& eventually have to wash it off to stop the irritation and burning feeling.
