I have wavy, more straight-ish hair and it's very thin too. But my hair is always frizzy. Is there any products anyone can recommend for me to use to make my hair more silky?

I have the same problem, you should try Argan oil products they helped with frizz for me. And the herbal essences 'smooth' shampoo really really helped aswell :)

I want to try the herbal essences shampoo but I've been sticking to sulfate free organic shampoos. I guess other shampoos just scare me cause it's made my hair very dry and broom like in the past.

Herbal Essences isn't worth anything. You have the right idea already. Personally I used to have a ton of frizz, but frizz isn't even a part of my life anymore to be totally honest. I use mostly "It's a 10" products. The miracle styling oil is perfect for frizz but I use the whole line of their products pretty much so I don't know how it does by itself I just know I've had better results since adding it in.
