Yes. I use it. I primarily wear extensions. But the thing is, I don't use like hair styling products. I don't use serums or sprays. Therefore there isn't product build up to where I would need shampoo. Also with African American hair, our scalp doesn't get oily, it gets dry. So your your hair texture, I would use shampoo too every so often. Like once every 1-2 weeks to cleanse the scalp.
