I'm about to be 18 and my skin has cleared up a bit but I still get acne and my acne scars won't go away. My skin is extremely oily and I've tried everything from pills to Home remedies to make my acne go away and nothings seems to work. Help?

I have oily skin and was prescribed Duac by my doctor. It really dries out your skin but I haven't had any new acne since I started using it. Maybe I'd look into that if I were you?

I tried everything too. I use a benzoyl peroxide product called Quinoderm. It's an over the counter product and it cleared my skin. You could try that. :)

Maybe Accutane. A lot of people have mixed reviews, and it takes a while, but people can clear up bad, reoccurring acne with it usually. I would go to a doctor or dermatologist because they know what is best for your skin type!

See a dermatologist! They have the best idea and can prescribe you more intense medicine to keep it away. Sometimes acne is genetic so there's not much you can do about permanent removal of all acne but here are some great things to do:

Drink water (chug lots. It's good for your everything!)
Tea tree oil (pure oil, cleansers and masks)
Cetaphil
Milk of magnesia (primer, mask)
Lemon juice (for scars)
Benzoyl peroxide (cream, topical gels)
Salicylic acid (cream, spot treatment)
African black soap (dudu osun is the real deal.)
Cinnamon honey mask (for prevention)
Baking soda and honey mask (for whiteheads)

Hope this helped :)$

Honestly, drinking lots if water throughout the day does wonders for your skin. I decided to start drinking lots of water again and within a week I noticed my skin was so much better. I recommend water over every pill under the sun lol also its great for the rest of your body so that's an added bonus!

this site has a skin regimen that has literally saved my skin.
I've probably tried just about every skin product they offer in drugstores, as well as some from the doctors office, and proactiv (never ever ever get proactiv by the way guys)
I have hormonal acne for the most part (not on pills but considering getting some for it) and sensitive skin that pretty much breaks out when the weather changes and this is the only regimen I have found up to this point that actually works! On top of that I would recommend drinking lots of water, monitoring certain foods (my acne isn't food related but I know that for a lot of people it is) moisturise at least twice a day, don't touch your skin, and try to exfoliate once a week.
The site also has a community of reviews and "testimonials" and what not of other people struggling with acne as well as a quiz you can take based on your acne to recommend certain products that your skin can benefit from
Hope it helps! good luck :)

Lots of water and antioxidants! Most of the time natural works unless it's hormonal. My friends doctor even told her to try birth control because the hormones in her body made her break out & it seems to help. Def ask a doctor before tho (:

For the acne scars, I use this Garnier dark spots thing. I also noticed that when I eat foods high in calories and high in sugar, my face broke out a lot more than usual.
