BB cream? Primer?

I have family pics tomorrow. Should I buy BB cream and primer? Either or? Never have worn either so I'm not sure what would help with my appearance in photos.

Most bb creams have primer.

You could also use bb cream as a primer for another foundation. Maybelline's BB cream is really good.
