So I just recieved my big bottle of cetaphil and it says you can use without water and wipe of with cotton wool or wash with water and pat dry with a towel,which way would be more effective?

Try both methods and see what works best for your skin. Myself personally I would go with water.

I think with water to really clean your skin. Without water, it would just sit on top of your skin and not really cleanse

With water makes me feel look and basically be more clean x
