I have a MAC paint pot, a Maybelline gel liner and some cream eye shadows that are a bit dry now. Is there a way to fix this or do I have to repurchase? :(

Most likely have to repurchase. You can try adding water but that may ruin them :/ hope that helped! & make sure to keep your makeup in a cool dry place :)

Depends, how long have you had them? if more then a couple years, i would replace them.

I would just repurchase.

I've had them all for less than a year. It's not like I can't use them, they're just drier... I heard putting them in hot water for a bit makes them a little creamier, but has anyone actually tried that and had it work?

Whatever the base is made from i.e. Water based, alcohol based or silicon based, you can usually add some of that back into the product to make it reusable or last longer. Ben Nye Mix and Seal is good for that!

Try using regular gentle eye drops! They are meant to moisturizer your ayes but they will do the same for your makeup :)

I use eye drops in my dried up gel... Works wonders & eye safe!

You can put hot water in a bowl, put a plastic disposable plate over it and put your gel liner in the middle of the plate so that the steam from the hot water melts your gel liner.

I heard using a bit of baby oil on the brush for gel liners works wonders

I use a couple drops of makeup remover for my inglot gel liners, works just like new :)

Less than a year? keep it, and try to use it more often. Makeup dries up when its just sitting there collecting dust.
