The only foundation I've used is elf. I like it but it does make the oily parts of my face ki.d of tacky feeling

Covergirl 3 in 1 is good but I noticed it does get dry spots you have to moisturize really good

On the more high end side I like Nars. On the drugstore side I love revlon color stay, neutrogena heathy skin, and maybelline fit me. With revlon and neutrogena they show you which foundation you use for your type of skin. Which is super nice and useful!

I love Revlons Colorstay Whipped Foundation! It's medium coverage but you can build it up to full coverage and its not oily or shiny and it lasts all day(:

I just bought the Urban Decay Naked foundation and it's amazing. Huge range of shades and beautiful formula.

If you have fair skin I'd suggest looking more towards high end as cheaper brands tend not to do fairer shades. I like Estée Lauder double wear as they have a wide range of colours and great coverage, UD also is great and does light shades, depending on how fair you are Clinique is okay but not great for pale girls as their lightest shade, alabaster, is rather dark in my opinion

Tried revlon photoready, but my nose still ouly. Then I found max factor facefinity 3 in 1, and I love it. Heard that it is similar to covergirl's.

Naked Foundation by UD is awesome! On the less expensive end, you can't go wrong with Loreal True Match- great for all skin tones and types.
If you feel like your skin is oily, I would do a liquid foundation and then layer it with a powder foundation- with a brush, not a sponge. Just on the t-zone. I like the powder foundation Flower by Drew Barrymore and for 7 bucks it's a steal!
