I color my hair for more than 9 years. I was blonde at the beginning for 2 years, then red for 1 year, then black for 3 years, then again blonde etc... now for the last year I'm dark blonde, but almost everytime I choose another shade -> natural, copper, gold and so on. I would like to stop and use only one color, but everytime I try to find smth better. How to stop?

Thats life.. Haha. I get bored of my colour too but I think we keep colouring our hair to change ourselves. New hair comes with a new attitude / confidence. So just have some long pauses between each colouring so that it doesn't screw up your hair.

There is truth in your words, but I'm 22 not sure I should experiment like at 16, I want to find my style and be loyal to it. I would prefere experimenting better with makeup than with hair...

I change my hair color a lot! I love how I look with both platinum blonde hair and red hair, so I constantly go back and forth between them. I first dyed my hair when I was 11. I lightened my hair with sun-in all summer, then dyed it pink when it was light enough lol. Then I went to red. Then I went blonde..then blonder and blonder. Then between platinum blonde and red, and mixtures of the two, for the next 7 years! I had a few crazy colors like purples and blues in between though, but never for very long. Then I dyed my hair strawberry blonde when I went off to college at 18, since it was less maintenance with my natural hair color growing in and I didn't have a hair salon I trusted at school. I tried some more natural colors like a dark blonde and light brown, then finally went black. I bleached a stripe in my hair and constantly changed those colors. Then I did black to blonde ombre. Changed it to black and turquoise ombre. Then I went red for about two years. Then I went back to platinum blonde about a year and a half ago. Now I change my hair between platinum blonde, silver, lavender, and other pastel shades on a regular basis!

I think its fun to change colors a lot! I think experimenting until you find your favorite color on yourself is what you should do. Once you find your favorite hair color, you can stick with it. Unfortunately, I have two that I can never decide on, so I'm always going back and forth between them =(

I'm 20 and I had like every colour there is.. Well the natural colours atleast. Right now I'm a brunette and stayed that way for a while. I just slightly lighten it when it gets summer and for winter/fall I pick cooler tones of brown. maybe pick one shade and experiment with the seasons :)

I change my hair about every 3 months. I love to do it (: I first had my hair blonde, then blonde with pink ombré, then I did yellow with pink ombré, then bright red, I was red for a bit, then dark purple, then orange, then blonde, & right now my hair is aqua (:

I'm 21 and I've also been changing my hair color since 16! I never had enough courage to cut my hair short so with such long and (back then) curly crazy hair all I could really change was the color so I did, like every 4 months :/ and I still am to this day. Sadly I just love changing my hair color and there's always a new color I just want on me then I get bored and change it again and so on lol its addicting. I don't think you ever have to stop doing it, new hair is a new outlook on life usually its not only changing your look but changing your attitude also.
As long as you keep your hair healthy between dying it and take proper care of it don't ever stop, do what you love until your happy with one certain color :)

Thank you for the feed back girls, have you ever tried to grow out your natural hair color??

I've attempted to grow out my natural color (very dark brown, almost black) from Kate Winslet in Titanic color red, and I felt so weird because it looked like a horribly done ombre! So I redyed it lol.
