I have terribly dry skin and every time I try foundation, I exfoliate till my face burns (horrible I know) then I apply moisturizer, and then foundation and it ALWAYS comes off streaky, and when I blend my skin comes off too. It's horrible. Literally. I feel like a zombie or something! I only use foundation for redness covering up, not for acne and such. Help?

Don't exfoliate so often you're only supposed to do it once a week. also, wash your face morning and night when you wake up and go to bed and moisturise whenever you feel your skin flaking. I try to use a Shea butter cause I find a thicker textured moisturiser helps dry skin a lot more than light ones.

My skin Is like the Sahara dry, but also oily. So Everytime I accidentally touch my face skin comes off... So I have to exfoliate or the skin will build up!

Neutrogena healthy skin, Bourjois healthy mix, Chanel Vitalumiere/Aqualumiere, Revlon Whipped Creme, Maybelline Dream Mousse, Maybelline Fit Me.
These all have a lot of moisture in them. Look into thick-textured, cream/whipped mousse foundations as these will cover dry skin better than a regular liquid. :)

Try putting Vaseline on your fave and then leaving on there for 20 min. Then wiping it off! Know it sounds weird but it helps

I have very dry skin and my holy grail foundation is the Tarte Amazonian Clay 12 Hr Full Coverage Foundation. It is incredible and does not magnify any of my dry patches!

Try priming your face with a good primer I like the Korres pomegranate one and then mix you liquid foundation with moisturizer in your hand and put it on. I would use a powder because it will probably just make you look drier

Use a tinted moisturizer don't even bother with foundation if your skin is that dry. If you need more coverage just go back in with concealer. Try the Laura mercier one I heard it's really good.

Use Cetaphil gentle face cleanser!! It's great! It cleans your skin without disrupting your skins natural Ph balance therefore preventing dryness or oiliness. It really helped balance out my skin and even my acne.

Only exfoliate once a week! Any more will just worsen it.
And have a good skin care routine. :)
Cleanse morning and night. (Twice at night) then apply moisturiser.
Try some masks?
And vaseline helps me, so try that?
Also, avoid using make up daily while you're trying to get rid of the dry skin :)
