Hi Everybody, I have been getting a lot of pimples lately and my T zone has become extra oily. I am not sure if it's because of the cold weather or if it's just a hormonal change; but I need help! I can't seem to find a really good moisturizer for my face than won't make me breakout. I also need help finding the best foundation for combination oily skin. I was using the neutrogena with sylic acid and it used to help but now it just makes my T zone more oily. I also have the Revlon Color Stay Whipped Mousse and it seems to help keeping my oily skin in control, but it is very thick and I feel it is not good to use on a daily basis. I used to use the smashbox primer as well but I stopped using it to prevent more pimples. I really need help finding the best moisturizer, and foundation for my skin. I don't really care about the price. I just need something to help my extra oily T Zone. Please Help!..Thanks!

Murad has a really good kit for acne, with some toner moisturiser and all. For the foundation, just buy something that doesn't have oil in it.

I can't give you product advice,I use the same neutrogena foundation that you use but it works for me. My best advice for the oil is to just blot your face during the day,I have to do that a lot. Embrace the extra oil,it means less wrinkles when we get older! :)

When you use your moisturizer, do you wipe off the excess?? That's super important!! Keeps pores from clogging! I use Clinique acne solutions foundation and it's wonderful!!

When's the last time you washed your brushes? Do you apply your makeup with your hands or a brush/sponge? If you use a sponge how old is it? How often do you touch your face? These are all questions to consider. Make sure your skin is well moisturized even though it's oily, the mistake most people make is thinking because their skin is oily that means they don't need moisturizers which is false. Sometimes the skin over produces oil because it's over compensating for the lack of hydration on the skin. If you're acne prone use an oil free formula and sometimes gel moisturizers are best because they're lightweight and oilfree. Toners are awesome after washing your face cause they return the skin back to its original PH and prep the skin for the moisturizer. Also make sure you give your moisturizer time to set before you apply makeup. You should try urban decays deslick makeup spray it's suppose to prevent oiliness and it's amazing.

Christina N. I never heard that it meant less wrinkles. Good to know. Thanks!... Rachel, I have been considering Clinique for my foundation, so I will probably give it try.

Hi Kendra, thank you for the feedback. I do moustirize my face but never really take away the excess. I have been looking at some gel moustirizers now. I use the Make Up Forever HD spray and it seems to help a lot with keeping my eye make up perfect but not too much with the oilness. I keep using the bloating papers through the day. I used to only blot once maybe twice a day, but now I have to do it around 4 times a day, sometimes more if I don't use makeup; which its odd.
