For blush I love Nars Orgasm. It's a universally friendly colour which looks great on everyone. I just use a fluffy blush brush and apply it in circular motions to the apples of my cheeks. When applying blush remember to smile which will make it easier to apply it on the apples of your cheeks. I will post a picture on where to apply blush.

For foundation, I suggest you try a primer before your foundation which will make it less oily. You can use Milk of Magnesia as a primer and I've also heard great things about Korres primers. I have oily skin and I use L'Oreal True Match which gives me a dewy look. You can try Kat Von D Lock it Foundation or Estee Lauder Doublewear which are both meant to be matte finishes. I prefer to apply foundation with my fingers because I find it gives a more natural finish. Some people prefer to use a brush but I personally find it makes the foundation look too heavy.

For me personally I don't like Mac foundation. I have sensitive skin and their formulas use quite harsh chemicals. Their foundation actually bleached my friends skin! However I've heard many people love the brand so maybe give it a try. I've never used their blush but I heard they're good. I love their lipstick, it's amazing! If you want a cheaper alternative for blush check out NYX they have some really good dupes of high end blushes.

I would try Revlon whipped color stay foundation. I find the whipped is super easy to apply, and you can just use your fingers. dot it on your face then blend in using circular motions. or if you want tto spend a outlet more money, then try bare minerals. its fool proof and amazing.
