Paint nails, let them dry, then put a a piece of newspaper above and with a cotton bud apply alcohol and left for few seconds -> pull of the paper and let dry then apply top coat.

Cutepolish has a really easy tutorial for newspaper nails...I followed it and they came out perfect :)

Is there any alternatives to alcohol??

Some have used plain water and they say it looks good but the print comes out lighter...not as black as with alcohol.
