Hello, I have very uneven skin all over my face. My face can become bright pink or very rosey looking in different areas. I would like to NOT have to cover it up with any foundation or makeup of any sort. I am extremely fair skinned, like porcelain. Is there any ways/ products anyone knows of to get my skin a more even tone all around? I use at minimum three acne products a day that work well with my skin, I don't think it has anything to do with those products. I don't have very much acne at all. Just lookin for ways to get my skin more clear, even, and very clean looking. Thank you :)

Maybe you have an allergy on the products you use? Or maybe you have rosacea?

Have you ever tried green based products for the redness? like primer/concealer?

It's not an allergy from the products, my skin use to be very clear, and then it got uneven somehow..

Ok, but I would go to a doctor because fair skin is more supposed to be affected by rosacea. Or from my experience... once I've woke up with red pimples on my cheeks, thought they will pass, but... and then my face became pinkish, red cheeks... ewww... :-)

It can be that your skin is just irritated or angry. I've been telling everyone this lately but have you ever tried lush products? I've recently started using that face line and I'm loving it. my face totally cleared up, became more even toned and went from being super oily in my t zone and dry everywhere else to just normal and ahhhhmazing.

I'll definitely have to look into to see if I have Rosacea then... Thanks! And how much is the lush products and where can I buy it? What exactly is it? Like a lotion or something?

Lush.com. they ssell everything shower/bath/face/body related. I use a cleanser called aqua Marina that's mostly calamine and has totally calmed my skin down, taken away any redness and breakouts. take a look on their website. its more then drug store brand, but everything will last you forever. a little goes a long way with the products.

What type of acne products are you using? Also if you are using at minimum 3 a day, it may be irritating you skin or you skin could becoming sensitized from the product (s).

Sounds like over sensitizing and drying out the skin. Try something moisturizing.

I'm using mostly drug store products, I use a wash in the shower, I put in some cream at night and in the morning I use exfoliating pad things. I wear foundation as well... Don't know if that could be angering my skin too

Jennifer, you may be over exfoliating. its good to do a few times a week, but not every day. usually if you wash and moisturize at night, your skin does not need much in the morning. just a light cleanse if anything.

Any moisturizer suggestions I should use? I checked out Lush and there's just so many products!

You should work on treating the condition you have now, the bright pink/very rosey appearance. Also from use of product what sounds like sensitization and irritation. I'd recommend trying Dermalogica Skin Care. It's a reasonably priced professional line, they sell at Ulta. Start with the basics:
1. Ultra calming cleanser
2. Ultra calming mist (toner)
3. Ultra calming serum
4. SPF - the have a variety
The serum "is your moisturizer" is is just made up of a smaller molecular structure than moisturizers so it penetrates deeper into the skin.

So I would use any of the products you are currently using. Once you've treated the condition you can start adding in other serums, different toners, etc.

*wouldnt use any of your current products.

@Jennifer I swear by the aqua marina cleanser. I also use Ultrabland cleanser at night along with the tea tree water toner, and vanishing cream moisturizer. I guess it just depends on your skin type though. really...I think they are all very good products.
