It could be that you're choosing a shade or two darker than you need. A good rule of thumb is to choose a foundation that is the lightest shade your face had. For example: I have medium skin with olive undertones, but in the winter when I loose any tan and my brunette hair looses its sun, I look much paler, and since my skintone isnt even, sometimes I actually have to use medium ivory in the winter.

Are you using primer underneath?
How much foundation are you using, and how are you applying it?
Do you set it with a powder?
Do you moisturize your skin after cleansing it?

I have combination skin and I get oily too and I use revlon color stay as well and I switched from the pro longwear to that and I love it. It covers really well and doesn't look Cakey. I use the combination/oily skin one though, not the one for normal/dry skin. There is quite a big difference between the two in my opinion.

If you have oily skin & only need light-medium coverage, try the new Urban Decay Naked Skin foundation, it feels light & looks natural.

Paige, I'd try something that is marked for light to medium coverage. Usually full coverage foundations are tricky to apply and blend. Also, do you use a setting powder? Sometimes when I go crazy with my setting powder it looks cakey
