I'm going to be a mermaid this year for Halloween and I need some inexpensive costume ideas :)

A green maxi skirt could work as a tail, if you don't want to actually get yourself a tail. If you wear that and a bathing suit top, and leave your hair down and curly, that could work. Also you could either do your makeup very natural/fresh from the sea feeling, or you can do jewel/ocean toned makeup on your eyes.
