Ok so I have a question that's been bothering me for days now. I have an appointment set up soon for a full body wax including a Brazilian. However my best friend just told me that waxing causes hair to grow back 10 fold. So in your personal or professional opinion, which option is better for a clean and long lasting resault that won't include me looking like a Sasquatch a week later? And does waxing have an upper hand for jot leaving bumps as shaving could? Or is it shaving that has an upper hand for feeling smooth.

Waxing is so much better than shaving in my opinion, waxing lasts a lot longer than shaving and it also removes any dead skin so you get a smooth, hairless finish that lasts for weeks whereas shaving only lasts a few days. Waxing makes your hair grow back thinner aswell where as shaving just chops the hair so it grows back prickly. one advantage of shaving is you can shave whenever you need to, you have to grow the hair for a while before you wax

I completely agree with Holly, waxing is amazing! It makes you smooth as a babies bottom for a month, shaving makes you prickly after 2 days, and leaves nasty ingrowns. If you wax long enough, the hair eventually gets thinner and thinner. 😁👍

Holly and Lexi have it right! I absolutely hate to shave I always get ingrown hairs and the hair grows back so fast. but with waxing I do not getting any bumps and the area feels so smooth. The only down side to waxing often is that it can get spendy.

I hate waxing. Did it once and that was enough.
I shave correctly and go against the grain so I've never had an ingrown hair with shaving.
Waxing is a painful process, it's costly, and to me it sure as heck did not last a month. By the second week, I had hair growing and obviously you can't shave it because you have to let it grow to a certain height.
The skin was not smooth for me, I feel like I get a closer and smoother result when I shave. I use 5 blades only though. Anything else sucks.
So it's up to you, but I don't praise waxing.
Only pro-hair does grow back thinner.
