Everybody keeps saying practice makes perfect. I agree 100% . I used to look like a draq queen when I got started doing makeup lol, now I have exceled and I have learned so much! My??? What looks can I try at home to take my work to the next level? I see some of you should be celebrity mua's and im shocked some of you havent had training! I mean what did you do in particular? Did you see a advanced look and immediatly tried it until you mastered it? Did you recreate looks from high fashion mags? I see alot of extraordinary freelance mua's here on beautylish! I mean breathtaking! Im also freelance. But I really wanna know what steps to take to get certified I want it all! Im hungry as hell to get better like you all? How???

Everyone always asks me where I learned to do my makeup, and the truth is, no one taught me! I just learned by trial and error (oh god haven't we all been there? xD) Seeing looks I liked, or even just parts of looks I liked, say, the eyeliner style, or the blending patterns, and I'd just all take it piece by piece and work it together so it worked for me! Not everything is flattering on every eye shape either, so its good to know what looks good on you and what wont!
