Horrible short hair cut... HELP!

So about three months ago (mid-September) I decided to walk on the wild side and cut my waist-length hair. In my stylist's defense, she did more or less what I asked for, but the results were horrendous. My hair is in choppy layers - the longest are uneven and about shoulder length, but since the cut is super graduated it looks a little mullet-y. It's a disaster. I know that I should just get it trimmed to even it up, but I can't bear to part with any more length. I've basically been stuffing it in beanie hats or putting it in a little ponytail for the past 12 weeks. Any tips for surviving a horrible hair cut? Advice for growing hair faster? I'm currently taking a whole host of vitamins (Biotin, MSM, prenatal), using dandruff shampoo (I've heard that can help stimulate follicles) and protecting my hair when heat styling. HELP!!

I'll try to post a photo as soon as possible.

Vitamins & less heat will help it gross fish oil, biotin I just bought hairfinity they are suppose to be good. I was taking viviscal definitely helped with my growth but very expensive. Try shampoos with natural ingredients Viviscal has some you can get at Harmon's. Also coconut oil, castor oil, almond oils I swear by these they have made a big difference in my hair.

Grace I know how you feel believe me. My hair was really long too and when I got my first cut the hair dresser just took wayy too much off my hair and ever since then my hair only grows a little past my shoulders now everytime I get a trim or cut. I've tried so many things to help with growing it back but never came across anything that helped me. So I had to give up :/
