Hi everyone,
I'm new to this site and makeup in general. This site has become a bit of an obsession.. :)
Anyways, i recently bought Nars super orgasm blush which i absolutely love and Makeup Forever's HD Microfinishing powder but i don't know which to apply first (I probably sound like an idiot for not knowing). I would really appreciate your feedback on this!! Thank you :)

Use your finishing powder to set your foundation, then add on your blush. Asking questions and reading beauty blogs is how most of us learn about how to apply make up, so trust me, u don't sound like an idiot at all! Have fun with it and good luck!! :)

Eh, I always did it before blush. It was just habit. Maybe next time (well, when I remember), I'll do powder after and see if it makes a difference.

Set with your powder, and then add your blush! It gives you a smoother surface to work on, allowing the blush to have a more even application!

Personally if I'm using a cream blush I use it before powder but in your case with a powder blush I would use it after

I personally do it both ways. If using a cream blush, I use powder after. If a powder blush, I set my foundation with powder first. Sometimes I use a litte too much blush or don't blend it enough so I go back with the powder. Either way is fine, try different things & see what you like best! Good luck! (:

Yep I agree with Amanda p. If its a creme blush I would powder after blush but if its a powder blush I don't think it makes a difference if its before or after :)
