Well I used to use Maybelline's eye studio gel liner and use a reeeaaally good brush. Get it smudge proof and water proof. Then set with black (or the color that matches) eyeshadow! Hope I helped! Goodluck.

I definitely recommend Xtreme Lashes Glideliner, it's extremely saturated so the black is REEEAALLY black, which helps with the staying/staining power. Plus it was made to mimic a liquid eyeliner on application! I put swatches on my hand and even though I showered and stuff you could still see them two days (you could see them completely clearly for about 15 hours before they started fading slowly) so you need baby oil or olive oil or any oil based makeup remover to take it off! Also, setting eyeliner with black eyeshadow always helps, it's like setting your foundation

Stila stay all day liquid liner definitely won't smudge. its insanely hard to even get off with makeup remover. I find that it tends to bleed a bit but it's a good long wearing eyeliner.
