So someone started a post that got me thinking... I never paint my nail because I can't keep the darn polish on! It's so annoying! I love nail polish and pretty much only paint my toes for the reason... I can't even keep on the gel nail polish. Does anyone have any tips for keeping polish on?

Use top coats and strong nail polishes they may need a few layers also nail polishes aren't permanent and will eventually come off.

I have, and gel is suppose to last atleast two weeks! Which nail polishes do you use? But I know they don't last forever but more than a day would be nice 😕😥

I use a lot of different brands, but Essie is one of the very best! With a top coat on my polish last about 3-4 days. If your hands are wet a lot, like if you do dishes, clean and so on, the polish peels quicker, also if you pick them they wouldn't last, sometimes I can't stop picking them ;)

Thanks Sabrina!! I may have to try that brand! I've always turned my head at it because of the price but I guess there's a reason it's pricey. I guess honestly I'm rough on my hands... I work at a motorcycle shop and always messing with them

It is a bit pricey, but it's really worth the price, and the bottles a quit big, so you get a lot for your money! Sally Hansen is also great, I have less experience with this brand, what the ones I got are great, and they are a tiny bit cheaper :)
And Wauw, well I think with that line of work maybe nothing will last more then a day or 2 :) Pam, here on BL, is a gartner and I know she also has to change polish everyday :)

Did you use the gel polish professionals use at a salon? My gel polish lasts for over 4 weeks...

The gel I use is the at home one. But no chemicals at work. I sometimes move them around and such.

You may not be doing all the steps necessary for the gelato last or not using good products. However even at a salon gel doesn't last me longer than a week, have you considered acrylics?

Hmmm maybe I'm not. I'll see if I am or not lol but as far as acrylics I was wearing them but I got laid off from my job and couldn't afford them. Kima I'll have to try that thanks!!
