I hate gel nail outgrowth! Possible fix?

I absolutely hate nail outgrowth. Especially since gel nails last so long! I'm sure many of you have faced this problem, the tips of your nails are unchipped but the top of your nails are grown out! It looks terrible. I did this quick little solution, and I just wanted to see what you ladies though. I only did one nail really quick so it's not the best but you get the idea. Thanks for the help loves :)

You may try to do an ombre using a sponge starting with cutticle so that you will cover this space:-)

@ashlyn I use gelish. But the Black is regular polish :). @diana I usually do an ombre look and I love the way it turns out! :) , I just wanted to do something different
