Since you have brown eyes.. Purples, blues would look pretty.. My eyes are dark brown too.

Oh honey you're asking the wrong person that. Because I can live with just shadow, liner and mascara lol.. Foundation is good to have, a blush or 2, few lipsticks /lip gloss

Elf has some nice cheap makeup brushes.. So does belle.. I use la colors for the most part (I'm addicted to the brand). Jumbo pencils are awesome. If you don't want to buy eye primer, you can use a white (helps the color pop better)
