It's pretty common. I've heard of a lot of different rememdies people use to help with the irritation. Aloe vera, baby powder, cocoa butter, and baby lotion are just a few things that can soothe the irritated skin.

Yeah, along with ingrowns. None of those remedies ever worked for me, I just had to start waxing, now I don't have that problem.

I've been using BikiniZone after shaving and it really helps mine. @Lexi do you wax yourself & what do you use?

Yeah I was thinking about waxing but I heard its extremely painful in that area and I'm a big sook haha.

@Taylor. Yes I wax myself, it's too expensive for me to get it done at the salon right now. I actually make my own sugar wax, it's kinda tricky to get the hang of it, but it's super cheap and works like a charm 😊 if you don't want the extra work, you can purchase a wax kit. Gigi's wax kit works great. It comes with a wax warmer, applicators, muslin strips, pre and post lotion, slow grow, cooling gel, etc. You can find it at Sally's. :)

Deodorant. Or coconut oil.

Yeah, like the other girls said, those little red bumps are normal. just skin irritation & ingrown hairs. I personally use deodorant right after shaving & a few days afterwards to keep them at bay. a few do still come through tho :/

About waxing, if you take some pain relievers (Advil, ibuprofen, etc.) about 20 minutes before you get your waxing done it really minimizes the pain :)
