I have decided to invest in a good foundation, and have heard many great reviews on the revlon colorstay line. I am still indecisive on whether to purchase the liquid or whipped version. I have semi oily/ combination skin, and looking to cover up uneven skin tone, hyperpigmentation, and the occasional breakout. Which would be the most recommended? thanks in advance.

I love the liquid foundation and I use my mac beauty blender to apply it all over my face. It never fades and it's not heavy for me. I finally set it with nyc powder or Ben nye setting powder. it's great.

I have used both. The best way I can describe the whipped version is its like a BB cream texture in a glass jar. For that reason its a lil easier to spread. I apply my foundations with my fingers and haven't had any issues. I feel like I get more "bang for my buck" with the liquid version as it seems to have more product compared to the whipped. However its possible that I am using less of the whipped per application so it may balance out, not sure. I don't personally think one is "better" than the other, just a matter of preference.
I will say to try both but try the liquid version catered to your skin type 1st as the whipped version does not cater.

I love the whipped! I have combination skin. Just apply a primer underneath. Stipple it on and it looks great and feels so weightless. I love it!
I've never tried the liquid so I guess I am biased

Liquid is incredible... I feel like the whipped might be a little thick. The liquid gives a nice light coverage I really like it and I have oily skin too.

Liquid would be better suited for summer. Whipped use for now. I sampled the liquid formula during summer and it did not budge while I know the whipped probably wouldn't last 4 hours in hot, humid Florida in the middle of summer.

Liquid is amazing. I have oily skin and inflammations from past acne problems. It doesn't bother me at all. That's why I swear by it and it's the only foundation I ever use.

If you have oily or semi oily skin your going to need a setting powder. I use it, but I'm going to invest in something different. Very easy to blender in with concealer on.
