I use translucent, so the color of the lipstick doesn't change. And yeah, Hilda, that's basically what I do. It seems like a bit of a long process, but it's worth it to me when my lipstick lasts a full day of school (and I'm in college, a full day can be anywhere from 3-8 hours). It's not difficult at all :)
