What's the best, correct and easiest way to do ombré hair?

First of all, make sure it's actually ombré. Keep it 2-3 shades lighter than your hair, and make sure that the transition looks easy and natural, as opposed to an ugly straight line of bleach. I'd see a professional.

PLEASE PLEASE ABSOLUTELY get it professionally done! I know it's expensive, but it's definitely worth the time and money, because if you end up messing it up yourself the price of that could be worse especially if you go somewhere else to correct it. See if there's a hair color specialist in your area. :)
