Hey girls I need your help and opinions! When I decide to redye my hair black I want it to be a blue black color. (Its currently black on top and ombre blonde/lightbrown at the ends) I do NOT want a plain black or natural black color. I want it to be intense with also a blue tint to it.
I've recently heard that L'Oreal Feria's collection has a very intense blue black color that actually has a blue hue to it in the sun. Has anyone tried this product before? Also please recommend any blue black hair dyed that won't fade or turn a weird greenish brown color. Thanks! :)

You could just go over it with a blue vegetable dye like special effects or manic panic. It would do the same thing without damage, and you could change the intensity.

Okay I've been dying my hair black for years and I've tried the loreal feria blue black color and this is so strange but it like bleached my roots blonde!! It was so bizarre, especially considering my hair is naturally a dark brown anyways! I don't know what caused that and I'm not sure if anyone else had this reaction but that was my experience with it!

That's weird, it might have just reacted weird. My sister used the feria blue black on blonde hair and it turned silver with bits of blue in it lol. But it was just a bad reaction to the dye.

I tried to dye my hair that color over blonde and it was all kinda of colors like 4 different ones you may want to dye it back black first before you make that mistake

When I had blue black hair, my mom (hairstylist) dyed it black first. Wore that for a bit then she put just a blue semi permanent color over it. Boom. DIY blue black lol

There's a loreal brand at Sally's. Get the color onyx it has a blue base and looks gorgeous. I usually mix it with a regular black so my hair is only slightly blue.

Danica, I like the splat blue hair dye its a really nice rich blue color but what I don't get is that it comes with bleach what if my hair is already bleached and I want to dye it blue black? I don't want it to bleach it just add color. I might just stick with buying a seperate blue hair dye and dyed over my base color.
Thanks for all your suggestions!! <3
