Hey beauties!
I'm at the point where I'm sort of getting bored with neutral eyes. I used a lot of neutrals to get used to blending and technique but now that I'm comfortable with my brushes (YAY) I want to try incorporating color more into my looks, but in a subtle, not too in your face, kind of way. I already use brighter and more daring lip colors so I'm mainly looking for eye looks. Any tips, pictures, specific products/brands you can recommend would be appreciated! :)

This is an excellent question! I can't wait to see the posts and hopefully pics. I've always struggled with colors because my eyes are so hooded. I mainly use color in my eyeliners on my eyes and color on lips

I use NYX smokey eye it's awesome. As we as I made my own urban decay smokey palette using their eyes shadows, and there mostly dark blue, purple, and green. Incorporating dark blues and purples and making them smokey will make your eyes intense!

Sugarpill is my favorite for matte pure (Red is actually a pure red kind of thing) colors as well as pigments. UD is nice for shimmers, I just ordered their NAKED3 palette but skipped the first two as preferred the Lorac Pro Palette over it.

If you want to be adventurous but cheap coastalscents.com has a 252 palette that's only $25 and pretty well pigmented.

You could always line your lower lash line with a bright eyeliner like a teal or a mauve to make your eyes pop or swap normal black liquid eyeliner on your top lash line for a deep purple or deep blue, elf do really good cheap ones :)

I think the best way 2 do very subtle is 2 do your natural look but add color 2 the crease of the lid and under the water line close 2 the inner corner.

I love those pics erin :) exactly what I wanted to see.
I ordered naked 3 also can't wait!! But I think I'm gna go with the coastal scents pallette to get used to color.
